1. Data we collect

• On this device: audio metadata after you grant library permission. Favorites and playlists stay in Echo’s local database.
• If you sign in: email, hashed sign-in code, session token, country for GST place of supply, uploaded audio, daily stored size, and stream amounts used only to compute your Echo Cloud bill.
• At pay time: name, email, and address used only to print the GST invoice and receipt. Echo does not store those invoice fields on your account. Razorpay collects payment instruments under its policy. Payment uses Wenesay’s Razorpay merchant account.
• Product analytics (optional): Wenesay CloudRat receives coarse, non-personal usage such as screens visited, listening time totals, play counts, shuffle/repeat/overlap/speed/EQ settings, library tap mode, and (on the web app) visualisation style. CloudRat does not receive song titles, filenames, or your email from Echo.

2. How to remove songs

• Where: Echo → Account → Cloud library. Echo confirms the option you chose before it removes a song from this phone, from Echo Cloud, or from both.
• Remove from this phone: Echo deletes that song on this device, including its downloaded copy. The Echo Cloud copy stays until you remove it there or delete the account. Playing the song again downloads it onto this phone. Android may ask you to confirm deleting music-library files.
• Remove from Echo Cloud: Echo deletes the uploaded file from Wenesay storage and stops storage charges for it. A copy that remains on this phone stays on the device. If the only copy is Echo’s download, Echo saves it into this phone’s music library first.
• Remove from phone and Echo Cloud: Echo deletes both copies. This cannot be undone.
• Cache: Clearing Echo’s cache does not delete your library or Echo Cloud songs.
• Skipped songs: A skip list is saved on that phone only. Echo does not upload a skipped song. A song already in Echo Cloud cannot be skipped until you remove it from Echo Cloud. If other phones use the same email, skipping or deleting a song can remove the copy those phones play when they do not have that song saved on the phone. Wenesay is not liable for songs lost that way.

3. How to delete your account

• Local wipe: Android Settings → Apps → Echo → Storage → Clear storage, or uninstall Echo.
• Echo Cloud: Echo → Account → Delete account, or email support@wenesay.com with subject Echo Data Deletion Request.
• Unpaid bills: Wenesay deletes an Echo Cloud account only after every open bill is paid.
• After deletion: sessions end and uploaded files are removed within 24 hours. Tax records stay as Indian tax law requires.
